Praveen Kumar, Co Convener of the conference gave an overview of the event. Over 680 students from sixty colleges were in attendance. Mr. Nandish S, Joint Coordinator, VSO delivered the welcome speech. “Youth are imperative forces in social movements. They make up 34% of the whole population. Civil societies play a crucial role in creating leaders. The youth play a crucial role in this with their ideas and ideals,” said Kishore Alva, Executive Director, UPCL Adani.
Narayan Sabhahit, registrar of Manipal University, talked about Daan Utsav and their plans for the coming years. Dr. Anup Naha proposed the vote of thanks. The conference concluded with Navaneeth Ganesh, Student Convener, announcing the prizes for the Film Making, Swaccha Bharat, and Ten Crore Indians Giving contests.
