AARAMBH 

Project Aarambh is weekly visits to Sri Krishna Balanikertan Orphanage, Udupi. The project focusing on helping the students with their studies. The volunteers also help supervise various skill development trainings such as dance workshops and computer literacy.

KHUSHI

Project Khushi is fortnightly visits to Nittur Balamandira Orphanage in Udupi. The primary focus of the project is to educate the children on fundamental subjects such as Spoken English and make their learning an enlightening experience through various demonstrations and activities.

AASHA 

Project Aasha is weekly visits to Vishranthi Dhama Old Age Home in Manipal. The project aims at encouraging the youth for the cause of the elderly. The volunteers spend time chatting and playing with the residents. Taking them out for a walk in the colony is also a segment of the project.

JYOTI 

Project Jyoti is weekly visits to Asare, a home for mentally challenged in Manipal. The volunteers involve in various activities with the residents such as arts and crafts. The regular jaunts to End Point with the residents for playtime is also a part of the project.

HOMBELAKU 

Project Hombelaku is weekly visits to Hombelaku, a Psychiatric Rhabilitation Center in Manipal. The project strives towards shaping the social and cognitive skills of the residents through various interactive activities and vocational trainings.

CLEAN MANIPAL CAMPAIGN

Project “Clean Manipal Campaign” is weekly spot-fixing and clean-up drives conducted twice a week. The project focuses on cleaning the streets and places in and around Manipal by making use of the collective effort of the volunteers who help with the cleanup activities.

BLOOD DONATION DRIVE

The blood donation drives are held weekly at Kasturba Hospital. The volunteers donate blood as an act of charity for community supply.

VIDYA 

Monthly Educational Visits to Namma Bhoomi Village in Kundapura

MUSKAAN 

Project Muskaan is weekly visits to Bijapur colony, Manipal. The volunteers conduct interactive sessions with the children of the colony where they groom them on multifarious subjects such as personal hygiene and help them learn the practical aspects of the training through fun filled activities.

PARIVARTANA 

Weekly Visits to the Beedingudde Slum, Udupi

AKSHARA 

Educational Visits to the Academy School, Manipal thrice a week

HEALTH CAMPS 

Monthly Dental and Health Camps/Checkups at various schools/localities/slums in and around Manipal and Mangalore

SANJEEVANI 

Project Sanjeevani is weekly visits to a pediatric ward in Artificial Limb Center, Kasturba Hospital. The volunteers spend quality time interacting with the children in the ward and engaging them in activities such as drawing and coloring. The children and their parents later join the volunteers for an hour of playtime and fun.

MINUGU 

Fortnightly Visit to the RAPCC Pediatric Ward, Govt. Wenlock HospitalMangalore

TARANG 

Tarang is a kite flying festival held annually. Each year, the fest creates awareness on one of the social causes and the proceeds from selling the tickets go towards the benefit of local charities and organizations.

SPARSH 

Sparsh is a biannual cultural extravaganza fundraiser event. The funds raised are used to carry out various diverse charity work. The event is marked by various cultural programmes ranging from performances by the children from orphanages to concerts by famous music bands.

SWAAD

Annual Food Fest during Utsav

CARNIVAL DE MANIPAL 

Carnival de Manipal is an annual sports and fitness festival aimed at promoting various causes. Various activities are hosted at the event including yoga, DJ, and a variety of games.

SPOKEN KANNADA CLASSES

Semesterly Spoken Kannada Training Sessions for Staff and Students of Manipal University

MANIPAL MARATHON 

The Manipal Marathon is the biggest annual running event in Manipal and sees the participation of runners from all across the country. It is a student run event with the aim of promoting running in and around the area to celebrate fitness.

CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 

Annual National/Asian Championship hosted by Sports Council, Manipal

Academy of General Education’s Annual Science Day Celebrations for School Students

DAAN UTSAV

Daan Utsav is a 100% volunteer driven initiative to encourage people to do any act of giving of their choice between October 2-8. All the constituent colleges of Manipal Academy of Higher Education take part to promote the joy of giving by launching various community driven projects aimed at spreading smiles and touching the lives of others in Manipal.
